Wir sind John (aus den Niederlanden) und Viola (aus Deutschland) Lentink. Noah ist 2014, Joshua 2018 und Matthias 2020 in Peru geboren.

Im März 2011 sind wir nach Peru ausgereist. Ein halbes Jahr haben wir in Arequipa mit dem Studium von Sprache und Kultur verbracht. Seit September 2011 sind wir im Missionskrankenhaus Diospi Suyana an der Arbeit. John macht Ultraschalls, Belastungs-EKGs, Langzeit-EKGs, Röntgenbilder und CT-Aufnahmen. Viola hat die ersten drei Jahre im Krankenhaus Labor gearbeitet. Seit der Geburt von Noah arbeitet sie in der Visa Abteilung der Verwaltung und hilft allen neuen und alten Missionaren mit ihren Visa Angelegenheiten.

Wir wollen hier nicht nur den armen Peruanern helfen, bessere und vertrauenswürdige medizinische Versorgung zu erhalten - es ist auch unser Ziel, dass die Menschen hier hören, wie sehr Gott sie liebt und dass Jesus auch für sie am Kreuz gestorben ist, damit sie ewiges Leben mit Gott haben.

Wij zijn John (uit Nederland) en Viola (uit Duitsland) Lentink. Onze zoon Noah is 2014, Joshua is 2018 en Matthias 2020 in Peru geboren worden.

In maart 2011 zijn we naar Peru gereisd. Een half jaar hebben we in Arequipa taal- en cultuurstudie gedaan. Sinds september 2011 zijn we werkzaam in het zendingsziekenhuis Diospi Suyana. John doet echo´s, belastings-ECG , holter, röntgen en CT-scans. Viola heeft de eerste drie jaar in het ziekenhuis in het Lab gewerkt; sinds de geboorte van Noah werkt ze nu in de administratie en regelt alle visa voor nieuwe zendelingen.
Wij willen niet alleen arme Peruanen helpen door een betere gezondheidszorg, maar hen ook laten weten dat God van hen houd en dat Jezus ook voor hen aan het kruis gestorven is, zodat ook zij eeuwig leven met God kunnen ontvangen. Naast het werk in het ziekenhuis zijn we ook bezig in een lokale gemeente.

In March of 2011 we moved to Peru. We spent half a year in Arequipa studying language and culture. Since September 2011 we have been at work at the Missionary Hospital, Diospi Suyana. John performs ultrasounds, stress test ECGs, long-term ECGs, X ray, and CTs. For the first three years here, Viola worked in the lab of the hospital. Since Noah’s birth she works with the department of Visa administration and helps new and old missionaries with their Visa matters. We don’t just want to help the poor Peruvians receive better and more trustworthy medical care- it is our goal that the people here would hear how much God loves them and also that Jesus died on the cross for them so that they could have eternal life with God.
